Flamenco, flamenco, flamenco. If you have not given this genre of Spanish music a listen, you might be missing out. You can introduce yourself to the genre by picking up one of Niña Pastori's albums. My favourite album is "María". It is pure and vibrant. While it is considered more "Nuevo Flamenco", there is a great fusion with pop, jazz and salsa.

Așa (pronounced "Asha") is a jewel. This Nigerian singer (born is Paris) fuses blues, folk, jazz, soul with West African influences (and she sings in English and Yoruba). Her debut album, "Așa" is out now.
